Weird wacky museums of the world
88Weird, odd, strange or just different
Thats what you could says about the museums I have found here. I really did not know what I was getting myself into when I decided to write this hub. I thought what a neat thing, a list of odd and weird museums. After looking at hundreds of pages of museums on the web, I came up with these. I am sure there are so many others out there that I have not found. I encountered broken links, museums closing or moving, and some just had no website at all, so I was not sure if they were valid museums. If you have been to a weird, odd or just plain different museum that is not on this list, Please let me know, I would love for this to be the complete list. Hope you enjoy it.

Great Hub, from bizarre to weird. I enjoyed it.
In South Africa we have, or had a SA Police museum which had a number of oddities in it, a skull with a knife embedded into it, the owner of the skull walked around with the knife in it for 10 years.
Too funny! Should I be concerned if more than a couple of these are places my boyfriend would <love> to go?
very interesting my dear....who would'a guessed...Strange things we humans keep for the future generations???Thanks for all the work you went though,,,G-Ma :o) hugs
How fun! I love museums, and a lot of these are just the things I'd like to see... that photo of the things found in a patient's stomach is totally something that would fascinate me!
wow!! this is a very neat hub! thanks for sharing with us :D
Great list of the bizarre! There are a few in England that might be worth adding that are odd - for example the Walter Rothschild Zoological Museum in Tring now renamed last year the Natural History Museum (not THE Natural History Museum) which has stuffed animals of all types including one of every known species of zebra!
There's a part 2? Wow definitely consider some of the Uk ones then - you have no idea how weird we are...
Quite enjoyable read for a "lunchtime" diversion! Thanks for the entertainment!
Great collection. I've been to the Mutter Museum a couple times, and I must say it is very odd and well, sometimes a bit gross! haha my little brother loved it when I took him there.
Brilliant hub great read. look forward to part 2.
Loved these interesting, creative and even strange and wacky ideas.
My personal favourite is on the Algarve, in Portugal - the Dried Fruit Museum.
The one with the parasites - YUCK! I could never go there. Not sure that I'd want to stay in the Lizzie Bordon B & B.
These are funny, great hub Gwendymom!
I just remembered the Insect Museum in Victoria, British Columbia. I took a group of students there and we had a lot of fun. I want to go back.
Wow! There are some strange things out there.
Thank you.
wow.. wish we have those here.. well.. besides the skulls house which the victims were beheaded by a legendary headhunte... nice article tho.. really like em.. thanx..
Great hub. I'd like to visit some of these - but not all.
Funny.
It is great that some people really put up and organize these museums and displays. Like other 'normal' museums, they also teach us many things and make us more aware of our surroundings.

Again some of the links that I had on here did not work, even after I tested them multiple times! So frustrating.
